Comstock Park is a northwestern suburb of Grand Rapids, located in Plainfield Township in Kent County. This town is best known as the location for Fifth Third Ballpark, home of the West Michigan Whitecaps baseball team. Check out the Mill Creek Water Wheel in Dwight Lydell Park – it commemorates two of the area’s first businesses, a sawmill and a grist mill.
Dwight Lydell Park spans 39 acres of recreation space – paved trails, open picnic shelters, fishing ponds, a ball diamond and play ground.
The White Pine Trail State Park runs through the heart of Comstock Park, offering access to 92 miles of biking/walking trails.
